Black Sabbath at the Wake Arms

A great experience,  Black Sabbath at the Wake Arms Epping - "Groovesville".  They were the best amongst the great bands that performed there.

I remember this one distinctly, there wasn't much room at the Wake Arms, there can't have been much more than a hundred of us packed into the back room. I was on the second row within about 6 feet of Ozzie Osbourne.

We were all "head-bangers" not exactly dynamic dancers; we just stood there dipping our heads in rhythm to the band.

Totally fantastic memory still with me today!
