Solo Whist

 During my sixth form at Edmonton County I do remember spending an awful lot of time playing Solo Whist. It seemed to have been a bit of a compulsion amongst us. I think it was JS who encouraged us to skip PE and learn whist.

I remember props and cops, going a bundle and other esoteric terms (I've never found out whether they were the correct words).

TR would go out and fetch us chips from the chippie down the road. It was very good of him, he had probably the first motor scooter amongst us.
