To New York by Concorde

I took a concorde flight with British Airways whilst I was working for a certain US Bank. They had a special offer at the time, flight out by concorde, back by 747.

The cabin was surprisingly cramped, the noise was terrifying, and there was no movie since the journey time to NY was too short!

I was also surprised, that when we left the UK coast westwards, that the pilot opened the throttles up and I got the same sensation of acceleration as I got when we first moved on the runway, a big kick in the back!
