The first sparks of Computing

Without doubt the spark that got me into computers in the first place was our lunchtime computing lessons with our Physics teacher, Mr Fage.

We spent time in a lab playing with some educational computing equipment called the LanDec (photo attached).

It wasn't just about playing with toys, Mr Fage also taught us the serious subjects of electronics, logic, gates and boolean stuff.

I've never left computers since.

Not sure of the date, but probably 1966-1968.
